Candidates need to keep in mind that there is negative marking in the IBPS RRB Officer Scale-II exam, and each incorrect answer attracts a penalty of 0.25 marks. Rushing through the exam does not help in any way. Reading the questions completely before answering helps to get the answers right.

IBPS RRB Officer Scale 2 Salary Structure

The salary structure of IBPS RRB Officer Scale 2 is as follows:

Salary                                     Rs. 29,000-Rs. 33,000

Besides this, there are liberal allowances detailed below:

Dearness Allowance (DA) will be 46.5% of basic pay. You will also receive House Rent Allowance (HRA), which is 5% of basic pay in the Rural areas, 7.5 % of basic pay in the Semi-Urban areas, and 10% of basic pay for Urban areas. The special allowances stand at 7.5% of basic pay.

Besides the above, employees are eligible for travel allowances, leased accommodation rent, medical reimbursement, miscellaneous allowances, and pension schemes.
